We are so fortunate to have Sychdyn Playgroup on site at Ysgol Sychdyn; this is just the start of a wonderful partnership that will benefit the children of the Sychdyn community and further afield for years to come!

ESTYN

Our most recent Estyn inspection was in summer 2023. We are very proud of the findings of the report, especially the acknowledgment that care and the well-being of children was judged EXCELLENT. 

So happy were Estyn of this aspect of the playgroup that they have used Sychdyn Playgroup as a case study for effective practice on the Estyn website.

Newly built in September 2022, our on site childcare building is purpose built and ready to welcome young children from the age of 2.

A message from the wonderful playgroup team:

'We have worked hard to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where your children can make friends, learn through play and help prepare them to move on to nursery school.'

*Playgroup operates Monday - Friday and we take from 2 years old.

We currently have spaces available 9-11.30am.

*Wraparound we have limited spaces on certain days 11.30am - 3pm.

*Children 3 years + are able to attend 9am-3pm.
