Please find below the Foundation Phase Framework, which is the National Curriculum for Wales 2015, and the current school specific documents used for all Areas of Learning within the Foundation Phase. The Language, Literacy & Communication and Maths Development documents also include the Literacy and Numeracy skills that children are expected to develop across all Areas of Learning.
The Welsh Government is planning to develop a new curriculum over the coming years. Information regarding this new curriculum is below.
Schools within Wales are currently trialling a new Digital Competence Framework, which will sit alongside Literacy and Numeracy as a set of cross-curricular skills. Once this Framework has become statutory it will be added to the page.
