Dear Elwy children & parents,
A warm welcome back to everybody! It was lovely to see the children again and see how much they have grown over the summer. Please find below a link to our Autumn class newsletter and the image above showing the Year 5 Autumn timetable which will continue until December.
You should have all received your child's Seesaw log in details with home access & QR code. If you require a copy of your child's home access code, please send me an email.
Year 5/Elwy uniform days will be Tuesday to Thursday, with Outdoor Education on Monday and Thursday afternoons; children will need to wear their sport's kit to school on these days.
On Monday 25th September we will be holding our 'Meet the Teacher' event where you are invited to come into school with your child, meet with me and have a look around our class.
This term our topic will be Peace & Conflict with a focus on World War One, and our language work begins with a study of the WW1 Welsh poet, Hedd Wynn.
We will continue to keep you updated with all our activities through our Seesaw Class Journal, our class Twitter feed @dosbarthe, the weekly school newsletter which is emailed on a Friday, and the Noticeboard section on this website.
