We had forest school sessions during holiday club in summer 2024. The children were all very sensible and followed the rules for the fire pit. They enjoyed taking part with activities such as preparing sticks for toasting marshmallows on the fire. They then enjoyed making and eating s’mores.

Outdoor craft activities
In after school club we have a Kids Club Children’s Council. They are currently four Year 6 children who are very involved with gathering ideas from the children about any new equipment, snack ideas or any activities that they would like to do. They voted for a ‘cooking club’ which is held every Tuesday in after school club.
So far they have made pizzas, fruit kebabs, fruity drinks and reindeer biscuits. The Council leaders are involved with planning, organising and setting up the activities each week, and are fantastic role models leading the activities.
