We are aware that some families are without WiFi today, please do not worry if your child is unable to access their Seesaw activities.
School is closed again today due to the adverse weather conditions.
We will be continuing with Online Learning and children can access their individual class tasks via Seesaw.
There are other resources available on this website in the 'Parents' section and 'Home Learning'.
We also have some of our staff story videos which the children can watch - they are found in the 'Children' section, and 'Video Resource centre'.
Should your child/ren have difficulty accessing Seesaw please contact either their class teacher, or symail@hwbcymru.net and we will support them in any way we can.
Thank you.

The ultimate course to help your child to learn
The Industrial Action planned by the National Education Union has been postponed. This means that the school will now operate as normal on Tuesday 14th February 2023 and be open for all classes.
At present, we have no further information regarding the other planned days of Industrial Action but as soon as we do, we will share this with you.
We are incredibly proud of our whole school family on the publication of our wonderfully positive Estyn Inspection report, which can be found by following the link below.

NEU Proposed Strike Action
You will likely be aware that the NEU is calling upon its members to take national strike action across four dates, starting on Wednesday 1st February.
The individual position of each school will vary, depending on several factors. Having now received relevant information from the LA, NEU members and the Department for Education, I am now able to complete the required risk assessments, liaising with our Governing Body and LA and will let everyone know about whether school will be able to open as normal during the proposed strike days. We will endeavour to do this as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

As a school family we are greatly saddened to hear of the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Her strength, sense of duty and dedication to our Country and Commonwealth has been unwavering. She has been an inspiring example to all who have grown up during her reign and her legacy will continue to reach future generations throughout the world. May Queen Elizabeth II rest in peace. God Save the King.
