Safeguarding - Safeguarding is the responsibility of all adults. Everyone has a responsibility to keep children and young people safe. Have a concern? It needs to be reported.
Ysgol Sychdyn’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Mr Hamilton and the Deputy DSLs are Mrs Gittins, Miss Hughes, Miss Hindley and Mrs Hooson. All can be contacted on 01352 753654, in person or via e-mail symail@hwbcymru.net
Alternatively, you can contact Social Services directly on 01352 701000, or, out of hours, on 0845 0533 116. If you feel a child is in immediate danger, then call the Police emergency number, 999.
If you have a safeguarding concern about a member of staff, please report it to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). If your concern relates to the Headteacher, please contact Katie Proctor (Chair of Governors), Laura Heywood (Safeguarding Governor), or report the concern directly to Social Services.
