Den, den, den… by Dosbarth Elwy.

18/03/25

Dosbarth Elwy have been learning about graphs and charts in our maths lessons. We went outside and created our own pictograms, bar charts and pie charts using natural materials. Lots of great discussion about collecting and presenting data. Da iawn pawb!

Dosbarth Elwy had a rocking day on TTRS launch day! We had lots of fun dressing up as rock stars, rocking out in assembly and playing on all the times tables games.

Da iawn to our netball and football teams. Netball team finished 3rd and football team 2nd overall Great effort.

Year 3 and 4 Tag Rugby.

After reading ‘The Leaf Thief,’ Dosbarth Elwy went outside to explore the different signs of autumn. We looked at evergreen and deciduous trees and then had lots of fun in the leaves. We even made some leaf art!

Dosbarth Elwy have been busy painting their dragon eyes. Here are some fabulous examples! So proud.

Dosbarth Elwy created their own magical potions during their outdoor learning session. Amazing imagination, vocabulary and measuring shown by all when mixing their recipes.

For World Mental Health Day, Dosbarth Elwy have been researching ways to look after your mental health and have been designing their own ‘how to’ guides for children.

During outdoor learning Dosbarth Elwy have been creating their own gardens for magical creatures. Each group has shown such amazing team work.
